According to a 2021 survey of Italian alcoholic beverage consumers, the majority of respondents for all types of beverages said they planned to consume the same amount in the future as in 2019. Some ** percent intended to increase the consumption of spirits-based cocktails, but another ** percent also intended to decrease it. On the other hand, ** percent intended to increase consumption of spirits such as liqueurs, bitters and distillates, while only percent intended to reduce beer consumption.
