According to a survey carried out in 2021 among Italian consumers of bitters, liqueurs, and spirits, the majority of respondents (80 percent) preferred preparing their own drinks when consuming cocktails at one. Pre-mixed cocktails bought at the supermarket were chosen by 36 percent, whereas 19 percent chose to consume cocktails at home that were prepared by the bar and picked up by takeout.
