In 2021, the gender gap in mobile phone access in Ethiopia stood at **** percent. This was the highest gender disparity recorded among the selected African countries. Cell phone access was also significantly higher among men than women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Niger, with gender gaps between ** percent and ** percent.
