Not all the largest construction companies in Germany were in this list, as there was no data regarding the share of the revenue generated abroad for some of them.

Although some of the companies included here may come from abroad, this statistic only presents data for their German-based subsidiaries.

*Data for Strabag also excludes data for its subsidiary Züblin.

Citation formats

In 2021, the revenue generated by the ** leading construction companies included here only amounted to **** percent of the overall industry in Germany. Strabag was the company with the largest market share at **** percent of the overall national revenue in Germany, while Züblin and Zech Group had a market share of less than one percent. In 2021, Hochtief was the German construction company with the highest revenue. Nevertheless, Hochtief's share of the German market was only **** percent as the company generated most of its revenue abroad.
