As of June 2022, around two-thirds (** percent) of people surveyed in Brazil said they listened to podcasts for informational purposes. Almost half (** percent) of respondents cited entertainment as a reason for listening to that type of audio file, while little less than one-third (** percent) mentioned education. Podcast's penetration rate among Brazilian internet users more than doubled between 2020 and 2022.
