The median size of multi-region venture capital (VC) deals closed in Africa between 2014 and 2020 corresponded to around *** million U.S. dollars, the highest on the continent. To follow, East Africa had the second-highest median value of VC deals in Africa, amounting to *** million U.S. dollars. Within the same period, multi-region VC deals accounted for almost half of the total VC deals' value on the African continent.
