Data are collected by cancer registries participating in the National Cancer Institute’s SEER program and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Program of Cancer Registries. Rates are age-adjusted to the 2000 US standard population. Rates are adjusted for delays in reporting and exclude Puerto Rico. The rate for Puerto Rico is not adjusted for delays in reporting.

Arkansas followed with **** per 100,000 incidence of lung cancer among males and **** per 100,000 incidence among females.Â
