A study conducted in 2020 showed that over ** percent of the economic zones that took part in the survey in Africa engaged in environmental inspections and over ** percent in labor inspections. Social and environmental services are sources of concern within economic zones since these are subject to special regulations. In Africa, only ** percent and ** percent of the zones provided housing facilities and sanitary facilities, respectively.
