According to a survey on mobile apps conducted by in September 2021, ** percent of respondents from the Philippines who never purchased an app before did not find a need to do so because the free version of the app had everything they needed. In contrast, *** percent of respondents stated that they did not purchase any mobile app because a family member or friend had a paid version of the app which they can use.
