Natural gas production in Mozambique slightly decreased in 2020. It fell to some thousand terajoules, down from thousand terajoules in 2019. Overall, the country's natural gas output strongly grew in the last two decades, due to recent gas field discoveries. Currently, Mozambique has one of the largest natural gas reserves in Africa.
