According to a survey of internet users in Austria, during the third quarter of 2020 chat apps were the leading apps by reach, with almost 92 percent of the country's digital population using mobile apps like WhatsApp and Messenger. Social networking apps were also popular among the country's internet users, with a reach of approximately 80 percent. Map apps had more than 78 percent reach among internet users in the country, while entertainment and video apps were used by almost 75 percent of the respondents.
