Value of real estate projects in Africa 2021, by type
Real estate projects in Africa were valued at nearly 233 billion U.S. dollars in 2021. Commercial construction had projects exceeding a total value of 121 billion U.S. dollars. Projects in industrial construction were valued at some 107 billion U.S. dollars, while cultural real estate had projects worth around 310 million U.S. dollars. Overall, real estate had the highest total value for construction projects among sectors in Africa that year.
