In 2022, Ghana produced around **** million metric tons of minerals, including precious metals,iron and ferro-alloy metals. This was a decrease from the output registered in the preceding year. As part of the rising mining activities carried on in Ghana, the country is one of the important producers of minerals such as manganese, in Africa.
