In 2020, the global tourism sector was severely constrained by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Many wineries worldwide were also affected, as some offer wine tours. When asked when they thought wine tourism activities would return to normal levels, nearly ** percent of wineries surveyed stated that this would happen in 2022. Meanwhile, around *** percent of wineries stated that a return to normal wine tourism activity would not occur until 2024 or later.
