Travel service exports in Taiwan suffered from an almost ** percent plunge in 2021, resulting from the global coronavirus pandemic. International tourism was a significant source for Taiwan’s foreign exchange, bringing in tens of billions of U.S. dollars in revenue each year. In 2022, however, the sector seemed to start recovering.
