A 2020 survey conducted among Indians aged between 18 and 35 revealed that the linkage between love and certain negative words saw an increase during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the use of 'difficult', 'anxiety', and 'frustrating' spiking by respectively ** percent, ** percent and ** percent. On the other hand, positive words associated with romance witnessed a noticeable decline in usage, such as a respective ** percent and ** percent drop for 'chemistry' and 'being together'.
