Creole Trail LNG terminal is the largest liquefied natural gas project cancelled in the United States as of 2021. The Louisiana planned terminal had an expected capacity of 27 million metric tons per year. Following, the second largest cancelled LNG terminal in the country is the Main Pass Energy Hub off the coast of Louisiana, with an annual capacity of 24 million metric tons. These two terminals were among the ten largest cancelled LNG terminals worldwide.
