Including subsidies, new, not yet producing New Mexican oil fields had an IRR of **** percent at average 2019 prices of ** U.S. dollars per barrel. Excluding subsidies this figure dropped to ** percent. Gas fields in Pennsylvania had some of the lowest IRR between *** and **** percent depending on the subsidy status.
