The variable ranges from 0 to 1 (most rights)."
In 2024, Estonia, with a score of 0.96, ranked highest on the Human Rights Index, followed by Sweden, Denmark, and Ireland. On the contrary, North Korea, Afghanistan, and Eritrea were the worst countries for human rights protection.
