* Mir is a Russian payment system, formalized in 2014 in collaboration with the Central Bank of Russia and World bank to overcome potential problems with electronic payments, after several Russian banks were denied US-based payment systems (Visa, Mastercard) due to sanctions regime. Bank cards belonging to Mir are primarily accepted by Russia-based companies, however, they are becoming popular among foreign companies as well.
The survey was conducted by tablet-assisted personal interview (TAPI).
The original survey question was worded as follows: "袣邪泻芯泄 锌谢邪褌械卸薪芯泄 褋懈褋褌械屑褘 写邪薪薪邪褟 泻邪褉褌邪?". The question referred to a question regarding the primary bank card types used by respondents.
