Between 1991 and 2009, the Egyptian government implemented a program of privatization regarding its public business sector companies through different means of offerings. The majority of ** percent was offered through anchor investors, while ** percent went through asset sale. Moreover, **** percent was privatized through leasing and percent by the sale of minority stake through public offering.
