In 2022, around ** percent of parents of eight to fourteen-year-old children in the United States were considering encouraging them to look at more affordable colleges. More than **** of the surveyed parents declared thinking about their children's college education more often than usual, most of them also thought that college is now more valuable than before. However, many of them were considering other education alternatives that are less expensive.
