This was followed by SPACs with no targeted sector, which raised approximately **** billion U.S. dollars. The top three is completed by SPACs targeting more than *** sector which raised approximately **** billion U.S. dollars. A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) is a company with no business operations which is set up for the sole purpose of raising capital through an initial public offering (IPO), with the goal of buying an existing company.
