According to a survey conducted among members of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) at the beginning of 2021, all commercial real estate sectors saw the value of property acquisitions by foreign investors decrease in 2020. Foreign investments in development land and apartments were least affected, with the value of acquisitions decreasing by **** percent between 2019 and 2020. In 2020, the coronavirus (COVID-19) brought the global economy to a standstill, causing disruptions to international business in the real estate sector.
