The value of venture capital (VC) funding raised by African startups on the continent in 2020 decreased significantly from the previous year. According to Partech Africa, *** million U.S. dollars in VC funding went to startups in Ghana. Disrupt Africa, however, reported a significantly lower value of only **** million U.S. dollars in VC funding that went to Ghanaian startups in 2020.
