Latin America: capital raised by Tecnolatinas 2020, by geographic strategy
In 2020, companies with a regional geographic strategy raised approximately ** percent of the capital investments received by Latin American tech startups (also called Tecnolatinas). Meanwhile, businesses targeting the Brazilian market concentrated around ** percent of the capital raised by Tecnolatinas in 2020. This pattern is consistent with the rise of venture capital (VC) investments in the increasingly attractive Brazilian market, which accounted for over ** percent of all VC deals closed in Latin America in 2019.
