According to a survey from the second quarter of 2020, the most-watched television program genre in the Asia Pacific region was news and current affairs, with ** percent of respondents having watched a program of the said genre in a typical week. In comparison, ** percent of respondents watched game or quiz shows in a typical week. Considering the respondents were over 16 years old, the least-watched genre in Asia Pacific was children's programs.
