Nearly ** percent of respondents to a widespread survey in the Netherlands indicated that they drank less alcohol after March 2020 than before the coronavirus pandemic. The share of consumers who increased their drinking during the (partial) lockdown was significantly smaller. Most Dutch drinkers reported no changes to their alcohol consumption.
