A payments behavior survey suggests that German men were significantly more likely to buy or use cryptocurrency than women in 2023. Overall ownership was believed to be around percent of all respondents, with a penetration rate of **** percent among men. These results were first measured right before the price of Bitcoin started its steady climb towards a value of * U.S. dollars in late 2020 and early 2021.
