*The questionnaire was an assessment of the transport data in the Arab region. The first section measured the production, availability, continuity, and completeness of the data. The second section assessed transport related Sustainable Development Goals. The third section measured data availability and completeness according to transport modalities (road, road safety, railway transport, maritime transport, air transport and multimodal transport) for the years 2005-2018.

According to a questionnaire on the status of the collection of transport data in the Arab region, between 2005 and 2018, Sudan and Tunisia had the highest score for the data on the total number of rail transport locomotives in use among the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at about ** points. The road network length in Egypt was the highest in the MENA region at about *** thousand kilometers in 2018.
