In the first quarter of 2022, the average daily rate (ADR) in hotels across India was Indian rupees per room. The year 2020 started well with a ADR-rate of Indian rupees in first quarter, which was identical to the same period in 2019. When a lockdown and travel restrictions were imposed in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the rates fell to around Indian rupees. Towards the end of the year, the rates slowly increased again.
