Electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes are devices mimicking tobacco smoking. While their health effects are still unclear, e-cigarettes are possibly less harmful than smoking tobacco directly. They are among the many methods developed to help people give up smoking.
Among French e-cigarette users who have made their own e-liquid at least once, the majority declare doing so because it is cheaper. Almost half of the respondents gave the possibility of adapting nicotine concentration as another reason.
