The deployment of 5G in November 2020 in France has been very controversial, particularly because of the possible health risks that the implementation would represent. While more than 60 percent of the French population supports the deployment of 5G where they live, 20 percent are at least somewhat favorable to the destruction of cell towers to protest against the implementation of 5G.
