In 2020, some cybersecurity challenges appeared to be simultaneously occurring due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, namely a reduction in security teams, with almost a third of respondents in the security industry answering as such; and also a strong belief that their organization is more likely to experience a data breach given the pandemic, with answering as such. The impact of both challenges are forcing these security professionals to face more threats while dealing a reduction of staff and resources.
