In 2024, the computer peripherals producer Logitech reported sales revenues of 4.3 billion U.S. dollars, down from the 4.54 billion recorded in 2023. The figure for 2022 was the highest reported for the time period studied since 2016, following a consistent yearly increase over the years prior to that.Â
Although Logitech’s headquarters is located in Lausanne, Switzerland, for the past five years most of the company’s revenue surprisingly has come from customers based in the Americas, or more formally, North America and South America. The second-largest region according to Logitech’s revenue from customer sales is that of EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), while the smallest region is Asia Pacific (China, Japan, Australia, Taiwan, India, and others).
The main products sold at Logitech largely participate in five markets: Creativity & Productivity, Gaming, Video Collaboration, Music, and Smart Home. Among these, the gaming segment brought in the most revenue in 2021 and is anticipated to grow in the upcoming years due to the rapid rise of live streamers and platforms such as Twitch and YouTube. Previously, pointing devices such as mouse products and wireless trackballs were the largest contributing segment for revenue, however, they appear to have stayed stagnant, while the popularity of gaming devices has almost tripled.
