The survey question was as follows:
"During the COVID-19 outbreak, are you doing the following actions more or less frequently?"
The study was conducted in in two parts:
The first part was The Main Survey conducted in 17 countries between January 19 and March 3 2020 before the coronavirus outbreak with a count of 3,400 face-to face interviews, Covered countries were Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen.
Syria and Sudan were recently added to the latest year's version of the survey in 2020. Each country had 200 respondent. Margin of error for this survey was +/-1.7 percent.
The second COVID-19 Pulse Survey between August 18 and 26, 2020 following the COVID-19 crisis with a count of 600 face-to-face and online interviews divided equally between six countries: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Algeria, and Egypt. Margin of error for this survey was +/-4.0 percent.
All respondents were exclusively citizens of their countries and they were 50% male and female.

According to a survey in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region on the Arab youth in 2020, the largest share of ** percent of Arab youth respondents in the region states that they were video streaming more frequently during the COVID-19 pandemic. The majority of the Arab youth believed that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had the greatest leadership in battling COVID-19 among all countries.
