In the first quarter of 2019, ** percent of traditional office landlords agreed that, from an underwriting perspective, buildings with a coworking component are valued differently from buildings with a wholly traditional leased office. Numbers are similar for other senior executives in the sector, such as coworking operators (** percent agreed). Underwriting involves an assessment of the degree of risk an individual or institution is taking before that risk is taken on. This risk commonly is a loan, insurance, or investment.
