According to a survey carried out in June 2020, the main reason given by Colombian women when asked why they were unfaithful was the need to feel desired and valued. That month, nearly eight out of ten women surveyed in the South American country said that they were motivated to look for an affair for that reason. Reconnecting with their feminine nature and proving their seduction abilities was the second most strong motivation to have a parallel relationship, with 76 percent of Colombian female respondents.
