In 2022, Complexo Hospitalario Universitario A Coruña topped the list of Spanish hospitals with the largest number of beds, with a total of beds. That same year, the second and third position in the ranking were held by Hospital Universitari Vall D'Hebron located in Barcelona, with hospital beds, and Complexo Hospitalario Universitario de Vigo, placed in the autonomous community of Galicia, with hospital beds as of that year, respectively.
