Total exports is the total exports from all Egyptian ports.
Other Ports are all other ports excluding: Alexandria, Western Frontier, Port Said, Suez, Damietta, Al Arish, Dekheila, Safaga, Kosair and Red Sea Ports, South Frontier(Wadi Halfa), and Air Ports.
The data constitutes all clearance systems for customs, including foreign trade free zones, the stored products in customs warehouses, as well as imports and exports with respect to temporary admission systems or general trade system.
"Temporary admission system" reflects the Customs operations through which some goods, that are within the Customs territory, can with limitation be partially or totally relieved from import taxes and duties payments.
"General trade system" is in place when the economic territory along with its statistical territory coincide. This reflects that imports are all goods going into an economic territory, while exports are all goods going out of an economic territory of a compiling country.

Monthly value of exports from other ports in Egypt 2019-2020
In July 2020, the monthly export value from other ports in Egypt was around million U.S. dollars, and this represented a dip in value of *** percent from the previous month. Furthermore, between January and July 2020, the export value from these ports ranged between roughly million U.S. dollars in April 2020, and million U.S. dollars in March 2020. The large increase of **** percent in the export value in March could possibly be related to the drop in exports from Air ports due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Moreover, the increase caused exports from other ports to account for **** percent of the total port exports.
