According to a survey by on dietary supplements in Indonesia conducted in March 2022, the majority of respondents in all age groups who took dietary supplements or nutraceuticals stated that their frequency of doing so increased after the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Dietary supplements included herbal or botanical substances, minerals, or vitamins, taken to supplement the diet to improve health.
