According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by in February 2022, about ** percent of the dating app users from Taiwan who aged between 25 to 34 years said they used dating apps primarily for meeting new people. The survey showed there was a higher proportion of female users considered dating apps to be a tool to kill boredom than their male counterparts.
