In 2020, IT teams from Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia all reported spending the most time on preventing cyber threats. Among the three Latin American countries included in the study, Mexico was the one where IT teams dedicated the highest amount of time detecting attacks, while Colombia spent the highest percentage of time on response.
