According to a survey among nearly ** businesses in the United Kingdom at the end of July and beginning of August 2020, nearly ** percent of enterprises saw their operating costs exceed turnover because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The effect on the real estate sector was also severe but still, slightly milder, with close to percent reporting a negative operating profit.
