The Bank of Tanzania monitors economic developments at micro-level basing on six zones: Central (Dodoma, Morogoro, Singida, and Tabora regions), Dar es Salaam, South Eastern (Ruvuma, Coast, Lindi, and Mtwara regions), Lake (Geita, Kagera, Kigoma, Mara, Mwanza, Shinyanga, and Simiyu), Northern (Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, and Tanga), and Southern Highlands (Iringa, Katavi, Mbeya, Njombe, Rukwa, and Songwe).
