According to the survey conducted by in Indonesia, approximately ** percent of the respondents aged between 45 and 54 years old stated that they ordered food from food delivery apps more often during the COVID-19 pandemic because they and their family were practicing social distancing. In comparison, ** percent of the respondents aged between 16 and 24 years old said the reason why they used food delivery apps more often was because they could not cook. The same survey showed that Indonesians mainly ordered dinner on food delivery apps.
