Environmental, social, and corporate governance refers to a set of standards for a company's operations that investors use to determine if a particular company operates in ways that encompass environmental stewardship, socially just operations with employees, suppliers, customers, and its communities. Corporate governance refers to how a company handles its leadership, executive pay, audits, shareholder rights, and internal controls.
