As of the fourth quarter of 2019, the Asia Pacific region had the highest rate of smartphone buyers using mobile contactless payments. An approximate ** percent of APAC smartphone buyers used their device to make contactless payments and on average made *** contactless mobile transactions per quarter. In contrast, only ** percent of smartphone buyers from Europe were using mobile contactless payments.
