The purpose of the study was to determine the level of support or rejection by prefessors of Russian universities for the transformation of education from full-time to distance education.

University professors' opinion on distance education in Russia 2020
In April 2020, less than 30 percent of university professors in Russia found distance education fully or rather convenient for them. Higher education teachers tended to be skeptical towards that form of education, as more than 52 percent expressed a strong preference for their classes to be conducted in the face-to-face format.
