The outbreak of COVID-19, also known as the novel coronavirus, has led to revised growth expectations for enterprise software spending in 2020. A survey of software buyers and users revealed that on the whole, organizations will spend less on software, yet certain software solutions, particularly remote work solutions, are expected to witness spending increase. As of April, 67 percent of respondents reported increases in spending on web conferencing software.
